Football Recap: Dominguez Starts Season with Victory Against Marshall + How To Watch

Dominguez took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They blew past the Marshall Eagles 71-0.

Dominguez found their leader in sophomore Donnie Johnson III, who threw for 209 yards and six TDs on only 12 passes. Another player making a difference was Kahmi Williams, who picked up 76 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

One reason for the win was Dominguez's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Leading the way was Tylon Elder-Brown with two. Dominguez received some extra help from Darrell Frazier, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

This is the second loss in a row for Marshall and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Dominguez will challenge Hawthorne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Marshall, they will take on Pacific at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
