Softball Recap: Comer Takes a Loss

Comer lost against Dadeville back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Comer lost 16-1 to Dadeville. Comer's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Comer's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Dadeville, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-4.

Coming up, Comer will take on Fayetteville at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Comer has given up an average of 10.1 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Dadeville, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Dadeville Tigers take on Central of Coosa County Cougars at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
