Hardin-Jefferson entered their tilt with Livingston on Friday with seven consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with eight. They came out on top against the Livingston Lions by a score of  52-41. Given the Hawks' advantage  in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings  (they are ranked 420th, while the Lions are ranked 960th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
