Founders Christian had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They pulled ahead with a 31-30 photo finish over the Brazosport Christian Eagles. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 30-15 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2021.

Founders Christian pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.2 points per game. As for Brazosport Christian, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-3 record.
