Soccer Recap: Marshall County Comes Up Short

If Marshall County was riding high fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Paducah Tilghman last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Marshals fell just short of the University Heights Blazers by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Marshall County couldn't quite close it out.

Marshall County's loss dropped their record down to 10-9-1. As for University Heights, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5.

Coming up, Marshall County will head out to challenge Henderson County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Marshall County are facing Henderson County at the right time seeing as Henderson County are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for University Heights, they will be playing at home against Hopkins County Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
