Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Holdrege). They blew past Valentine 79-27 on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Dusters sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Valentine's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Joni Cox, who posted 12 points and five rebounds, and Rylee Wackler, who earned two points and six rebounds. Those two points gave Wackler a new career-high.

Holdrege is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.5 points per game. As for Valentine, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Holdrege will welcome Adams Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Holdrege has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Valentine, they are taking a road trip to face off against Cody-Kilgore at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
