Softball Recap: Weber Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Weber's offense. They came up short against the Herriman Mustangs on Saturday, falling 17-0. The Warriors' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Weber saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emerie Jensen, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Weber's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Herriman, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-8.

Coming up, Weber will head out on the road to take on Riverton at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Herriman, they will take on Logan in a tournament on Saturday. The Mustangs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Grizzlies have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
