Football Recap: Victory Christian Academy Skates Past Temple Christian with Ease

The Victory Christian Academy Patriots blew past the Temple Christian Eagles, posting a 65-18 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

Despite the loss, Temple Christian saw an underclassman step up: freshman Enzo Lopez picked up 79 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Lopez didn't just play on offense: he also made three total tackles and defended one pass. Bryson Rife also helped out with an impressive 83 receiving yards.

Victory Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Temple Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Victory Christian Academy will venture away from home to take on Prince of Peace at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th. As for Temple Christian, they will take on Fannindel at 7:30 p.m. on the 12th.
