Volleyball Game Preview: Williamsburg Academy Stallions vs. Pee Dee Academy Golden Eagles

Williamsburg Academy hasn't had much luck against Pee Dee Academy recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Stallions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Golden Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Williamsburg Academy beat Virtus Academy 3-1.

Williamsburg Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Pee Dee Academy got the win against Laurence Manning Academy on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Pee Dee Academy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19, 25-14.

Williamsburg Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Pee Dee Academy, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

Williamsburg Academy might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Pee Dee Academy in their previous meeting back in October of 2022.
