Soccer Recap: Gadsden City Falls to Chelsea in First Game of Season

Gadsden City had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 5-1 to the Chelsea Hornets on Saturday. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Chelsea and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, Gadsden City will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Collinsville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chelsea, they will take on Oak Mountain in a tournament on Thursday.
