Softball Recap: Lemoore Comes Up Short

After soaring to 18 runs the game before, Lemoore was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They came up short against the Sanger Apaches, falling 17-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Apaches: they've now lost four in a row.

Lemoore saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mikayla Pommerening, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Lemoore's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Lemoore will square off against Hanford West at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sanger will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mission Oak at 4:00 p.m. on March 11th.
