She has been hot recently, having posted three or more RBI the last three times she's played. Bella Waller was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.
Zion Christian Academy hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in 11 consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Grace Christian Academy duked it out with Battle Ground Academy on Tuesday. The Lions came up short against the Wildcats, falling 9-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost eight in a row.
Grace Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elaina Morgan, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Zion Christian Academy's record now sits at 9-6. As for Grace Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.
Grace Christian Academy's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Zion Christian Academy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .478. It's a different story for Grace Christian Academy, though, as they've only averaged .335. Will they be able to contain Zion Christian Academy's hitters?
Zion Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Grace Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in April of 2023, winning 5-1.
