 Marsing lost against Cole Valley Christian last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Wednesday. The Marsing Huskies lost  17-1 to the Cole Valley Christian Chargers. The  loss   continues a  trend for Marsing in their matchups with Cole Valley Christian: they've now lost eight in a row.
 Marsing saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Lily Thoene, who  went 1-for-3 with a  stolen base, a  double,  and  an  RBI.
 On Cole Valley Christian's side,  Lauren Colson was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out nine batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. Colson was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring four  runs and  stealing six bases while going 3-for-3.
 In other batting news, Cole Valley Christian let  Lola Crosby and  Abbie English loose on the outfield. Crosby  scored four  runs and  stole three bases while going 2-for-4, while  English  scored four  runs and  stole three bases while going 3-for-3. English hasn't dropped below three  hits for four straight games. Another player making a difference was  Karlie Barnum, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with a  home run, two  stolen bases,  and two  runs.
 Marsing's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14-2. As for Cole Valley Christian, the  victory was  the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-4-1.
 As of now, neither Marsing nor Cole Valley Christian have any future games scheduled.
