Basketball Recap: Godby Cougars vs. Madison County Cowboys
Godby lost to Madison County back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Godby Cougars came out on top against the Madison County Cowboys by a score of 62-55. Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Godby to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kenijah Clayton, who went 7 for 15 on her way to 19 points and three steals. Clayton is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aniyah Lewis, who posted 13 points in addition to eight rebounds and six steals.
