Basketball Recap: Denfeld Takes a Loss

Denfeld was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-42 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hibbing Bluejackets. The Hunters were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bluejackets earlier this season, when they won 46-42.

Denfeld's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Hibbing, their win ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-19.

Denfeld has already played their next match, a 58-52 defeat against Hinckley-Finlayson on the 1st. Hibbing has also already played their next game (against Virginia), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
