Football Game Preview: West Morris Central Wolfpack vs. Montville Mustangs + How To Watch

West Morris Central is a perfect 4-0 against Montville since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Wolfpack will look to defend their home field against the Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Friday.

Montville will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: West Morris Central extended their winning streak to six on Friday. The Wolfpack claimed a resounding 44-7 victory over Parsippany Hills. The Wolfpack's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Montville got the win against Parsippany Hills last Friday by a conclusive 27-7. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Mustangs' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while the Vikings are ranked 203rd).

West Morris Central's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Montville, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Everything went West Morris Central's way against Montville in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as West Morris Central made off with a 28-6 victory. Do the Wolfpack have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
