Baseball Recap: Bellingham Takes a Loss

Bellingham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 11-8 to the Lynden Christian Lyncs. The Bayhawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lyncs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Bellingham's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Lynden Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 12-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bellingham will welcome Burlington-Edison at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Bayhawks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lynden Christian, they will host Mount Vernon at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lyncs will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least ten runs in their last five matches.
