Softball Recap: Herkimer Has No Trouble Against Adirondack

Herkimer barely beat Adirondack the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Magicians put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 11-2 win on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Magicians, who have now won four games by six runs or more so far this season.

Herkimer now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Adirondack, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 9-4 record.

Looking ahead, Herkimer will look to defend their home field on Friday against Waterville at 4:30 p.m. The Magicians are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Adirondack, they will square off against Holland Patent at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
