Softball Recap: Tascosa Comes Up Short

After flying high against Plainview last Monday, Tascosa came back down to earth. The Tascosa Rebels lost 9-2 to the Americas Trail Blazers on Friday.

Tascosa saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emmi Whitehead, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double. That double marked the first that Whitehead's hit this season.

Tascosa's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Americas, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.

Tascosa has already played their next contest, a 9-3 loss against El Paso on the 21st. As for Americas, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 16-5 victory against Plainview on the 21st.
