Soccer Recap: Carolina Friends Comes Up Short

After flying high against Salem Academy last Tuesday, Carolina Friends came back down to earth. The Carolina Friends Quakers came up short against the Greensboro Day School Bengals on Friday, falling 3-0. The Quakers were not able to make up for their loss to the Bengals from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Carolina Friends now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Greensboro Day School, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carolina Friends will host Cristo Rey Research Triangle at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The match will give Carolina Friends their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Greensboro Day School, they will be playing at home against Cannon at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cannon is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.
