Basketball Recap: Jac-Cen-Del Comes Up Short

Jac-Cen-Del suffered their biggest defeat since November 26, 2024 on Saturday. They were beaten by the Greensburg Pirates 63-36. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Pirates from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Greensburg found their leader in sophomore Jacoby Miller, who went 8 of 14 en route to 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Miller has scored all season. Jack Mckinsey was another key player, putting up six points along with 11 boards and three steals.

Jac-Cen-Del has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Greensburg, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Coming up, Jac-Cen-Del will venture away from home to take on North Decatur at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greensburg, they will welcome Connersville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
