There's no place like home for Athens, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They breezed by the Kettering Captains to the tune of 80-45 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Red Hawks have posted since December 1, 2023.

When it comes to explaining why Kettering lost, don't look at Nathan Bisnett. Despite the final result, he posted 14 points. That's the most points Bisnett has posted since back in January. Another player making a difference was Dylan Hamel, who earned eight points.

Athens' victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6. As for Kettering, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Athens will host Seaholm at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kettering, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Churchill at 7:00 p.m.
