Bowdon had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They managed a 53-48 win over the Schley County Wildcats on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Red Devils as they're now sitting on 12 straight.

Despite the loss, Schley County still got an impressive performance from Payton Goodin, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 12 boards. The dominant performance also gave Goodin a new career-high in blocks (eight). Jamesen Hollomon was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds.

Bowdon's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-8. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points over those games. As for Schley County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-12.

Looking ahead, Bowdon will face off against Telfair County on Friday. Telfair County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.3 points per game this season. Schley County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
