Basketball Recap: Jackson's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Jackson entered their match against Mason on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Jackson Vikings fell 67-60 to the Mason Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 200th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 26th).

Jackson's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-4. As for Mason, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jackson will host Oak Park at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mason, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Charlotte at 6:00 p.m.
