Basketball Recap: Leroy Makes It Three in a Row at Home

Leroy had won two straight home games and Ian White did his part to make it three on Friday. The Leroy Bears sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 43-40 victory over the Millry Wildcats thanks in part to White, who went 5 of 12 en route to 15 points and six rebounds. The matchup was his fourth in a row with at least ten points.

Ja'Kavien Collins was another key player, putting up five points and 13 boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds.

Leroy now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Millry, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Leroy will have a chance to go back-to-back against Millry: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
