Basketball Recap: Hiland Takes a Loss

Hiland fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Lexington on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Lexington Minutemen by a score of 56-54. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Minutemen recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Hiland's loss dropped their record down to 19-2. As for Lexington, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-3.

Hiland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lexington, they will face off against Madison Comprehensive at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
