Basketball Preview: Mid-Moore Christian Tornados vs. Family of Faith Christian Warriors
The Mid-Moore Christian Tornados's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Family of Faith Christian Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. Mid-Moore Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 410 points over their last six matchups.
Mid-Moore Christian stacked a 17th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They blew past Cristo Rey 59-36. Given Mid-Moore Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 109th, while the are ranked 347th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Mid-Moore Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was C. Moore out in front who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of J. Rivers, who scored 14 points.
Meanwhile, Family of Faith Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Friday after their fourth straight defeat. They took a serious blow against Mid-Moore Christian, falling 78-35.
Mid-Moore Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-1 record this season. As for Family of Faith Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
Everything came up roses for Mid-Moore Christian against the Warriors when the teams last played last Friday as the squad secured a 78-35 win. Will Mid-Moore Christian repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
