Softball Recap: GV Christian Comes Up Short

GV Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 19-1 to the White Pine Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-1 on Friday.

GV Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Callyn Rider, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

GV Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for White Pine, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-9.

GV Christian has already played their next contest, an 18-0 victory against Beatty on the 2nd. As for White Pine, they are taking a road trip to challenge Awaken Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 11.6 runs per game this season.
