Basketball Recap: Midwest City Gets the Win

Midwest City posted their closest victory since March 9, 2024 on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Classen SAS Comets 48-45. The 48-point effort marked the Bombers' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Classen SAS's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Josiah Morales, who posted 14 points and three steals, and Mike Dugas, who earned 13 points and three steals. Morales has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Pullen, who put up six points.

Midwest City has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Classen SAS, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.
