Softball Recap: Dalhart Wolves vs. Bushland Falcons
Dalhart extended their losing streak to four on Saturday, dropping them down to 3-13. They lost 37-0 to the Bushland Falcons. The Wolves lost against the Falcons in their previous head to head back in April of 2025, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 12-0 score last time.
As for Bushland, their record now sits at 8-14. That looming 37-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.
For Bushland's part, Brooklyn Briano looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. What's more, Briano posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in February.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Chayney Snelson, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, eight RBI, and three runs. What's more, she posted two doubles, the most she's had since back in May of 2025. Zaylee Wilson was another key player, getting on base in all six of her plate appearances with six runs, three stolen bases, and two RBI.
