Baseball Recap: East Takes a Loss

East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 8-0 to the Skyline Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 4-3 loss last Thursday.

East's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Skyline, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East will square off against West at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Leopards are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Skyline, they will take on Jordan at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Beetdiggers have averaged an impressive 11.1 runs per game this season.
