Basketball Recap: Downingtown East Comes Up Short

Downingtown East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 65-38 loss at the hands of the Coatesville Red Raiders. The match marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Downingtown East's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Coatesville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Downingtown East nor Coatesville have any future games scheduled.
