Basketball Recap: Halifax County Comes Up Short

Halifax County suffered their biggest loss since January 24th on Tuesday. They lost 68-48 to the George Washington Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Comets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 136th, while the Eagles are ranked 37th).

Halifax County's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for George Washington, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-3.

As of now, neither Halifax County nor George Washington have any future games scheduled.
