Baseball Recap: Palisades' Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Palisades was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Catasauqua on Tuesday. The Pirates were the clear victors by a 31-15 margin over the Rough Riders. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Pirates considering their one-run performance the game before.

Greg Borgeson was a standout: he got on base in six of his seven plate appearances with seven RBI, four runs, and three doubles. He has become a key player for Palisades: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 6-8 otherwise. Anderson Hsu was another key player, going 4-for-7 with six RBI and four runs.

Palisades kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 23 hits. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Palisades' victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-8. As for Catasauqua, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.
