Softball Game Preview: Frostproof Bulldogs vs. McKeel Academy Wildcats

Frostproof hasn't had much luck against McKeel Academy recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will face off against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Frostproof is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Monday. They fell 8-4 to George Jenkins.

Jordan Brantley was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Thursday as neither McKeel Academy nor Lake Region made it on the board until the tenth inning. The Wildcats fell just short of the Thunder by a score of 2-1. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Thunder recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Not much got past Emma Skipper, who gave up just seven hits and racked up six Ks to keep Lake Region off the board.

Frostproof's record is now 4-14. As for McKeel Academy, their record now sits at 7-11.

Frostproof suffered a grim 16-1 defeat to McKeel Academy when the teams last played back in March. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
