Boone sees their postseason come to a close

Recap: Boone Braves vs. Timber Creek Wolves

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Boone Braves can now relate to. They suffered a rough 50-30 loss at the hands of the Wolves on Tuesday. Boone's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Several Braves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Joan Orta, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cheo James, who scored four points along with four steals.

Something new happened on Tuesday as James saw his first action of the season, playing 12 minutes against Timber Creek. James made the most of the opportunity, scoring four points along with four steals. A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.

Boone's defeat dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Timber Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 10-14.

Boone does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Timber Creek, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 46-40 defeat vs. Winter Park on the 8th.
