Volleyball Recap: Oxford Academy's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Oxford Academy lost against Cerritos back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Patriots lost 3-0 to the Dons.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13, 25-12.

Oxford Academy's loss ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 14-5-1. As for Cerritos, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-4.

Oxford Academy and Cerritos should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Patriots (ranked 441st) will meet Pioneer (ranked 1032nd) at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cerritos will challenge Artesia at 3:15 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (264 vs. 793).
