Volleyball Recap: Yutan Has No Trouble Against Conestoga

Yutan won the last time they faced Conestoga and things went their way on Thursday too. The Chieftains were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cougars. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Chieftains.

While Yutan won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-15, 25-20.

Allison Kirchmann had an outrageously good game as she had 23 digs. Those 23 digs gave her a new career-high.

Yutan's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Conestoga, their defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5.

Coincidentally, Yutan and Conestoga will both be playing Louisville the next time they take the court. The Cougars will head out to face the Lions at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Chieftains will head out to face them on Thursday.
