Basketball Game Preview: Savannah Classical Academy Spartans vs. Bryan County Redskins

The Savannah Classical Academy Spartans will head out to face off against the Bryan County Redskins at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Savannah Classical Academy has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 9.

Last Friday, Savannah Classical Academy took a blow against First Preparatory Christian Academy, falling 73-33.

Meanwhile, Bryan County played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 71-43 loss at the hands of McIntosh County Academy. While losing is never fun, the Redskins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 221st, while the Buccaneers are ranked 85th).

Savannah Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Bryan County, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-6.

Savannah Classical Academy was dealt a bruising 63-34 loss at the hands of Bryan County in their previous matchup back in December of 2021. Can Savannah Classical Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
