Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Mt. Vernon/Plankinton walked away with it. They walked away with a 50-39 win over the Parker Pheasants on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Titans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Mt. Vernon/Plankinton's victory bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Parker, they are on a 28-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-21.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton will square off against Scotland/Menno at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Parker will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on McCook Central/Montrose on December 13th.
