Volleyball Game Preview: Rio Linda Knights vs. Dixon Rams + Official Tickets

Rio Linda is 2-8 against Dixon since August of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Rams at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Rio Linda came up short against Woodland on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Rio Linda was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Woodland's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-12, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Dixon came up short against Casa Roble on Tuesday and fell 3-1. Dixon has struggled against Casa Roble recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Rio Linda's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Dixon, their loss dropped their record down to 1-18.

Rio Linda took their victory against Dixon in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
