Basketball Recap: Dylan Hroch's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lamar over Sam Houston

Lamar lost against Sam Houston back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lamar Vikings fell to the Sam Houston Texans 52-46. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lamar's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dylan Hroch, who posted 16 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ke'Dren Washington, who put up 13 points and eight boards.

Lamar's defeat dropped their record down to 9-21. As for Sam Houston, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-18.

Lamar has already played their next contest (against Arlington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sam Houston has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Grand Prairie.
