Basketball Game Preview: Howard Huskies vs. Westside Seminoles

Howard is 0-10 against Westside since January of 2021 but things could change on Monday. The Huskies will face off against the Seminoles at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Howard's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Howard came up short against Southwest last Friday, falling 78-58.

Meanwhile, Westside lost 63-43 to Warner Robins on Saturday. That's two games in a row now that the Seminoles have lost by exactly 20 points.

Howard will have to contain Jalen Whitley as he made an impact in Westside's last game. He posted 19 points. Whitley has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Westside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Howard, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Howard couldn't quite get it done against Westside in their previous matchup back in February as they fell 58-45. Can the Huskies avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
