Basketball Recap: Liberty Union Takes a Loss

If Liberty Union was feeling good fresh off their 76-46 takedown of Amanda-Clearcreek on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lions received a blow on Friday as they fell 57-41 to the Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 67-46 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.

Liberty Union now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Bloom-Carroll, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Liberty Union will venture away from home to challenge Hamilton Township at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bloom-Carroll, they will host Grove City Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
