Baseball Recap: Brainerd Warriors vs. Maple Grove Crimson
Brainerd lost against Maple Grove back in June of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Brainerd Warriors fell 8-5 to the Maple Grove Crimson. Brainerd has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
For Maple Grove's part, Maddex Van Slooten was incredible, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Kellen Riskedahl, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a double.
Brainerd's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Maple Grove, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
As of now, neither Brainerd nor Maple Grove have any future games scheduled.
