Volleyball Recap: Summit Takes a Loss

Summit lost against Fontana back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The SkyHawks came up short against the Steelers, falling 3-0. The SkyHawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-13.

Summit's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 7-7. As for Fontana, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Summit will face off against rival Bloomington at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Fontana is set to challenge their familiar foe Rialto at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
