Basketball Recap: Eastern Lebanon County Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Manheim Central, Eastern Lebanon County was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Northern Lebanon Vikings by a score of 65-53. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Raiders as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Eastern Lebanon County's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Northern Lebanon, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Eastern Lebanon County and Northern Lebanon could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. Eastern Lebanon County (ranked 448th) will meet Octorara Area (ranked 125th) at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Northern Lebanon will face off against Lancaster Mennonite at 7:30 p.m. on Friday down 475 places (565 vs. 90).
