Volleyball Game Preview: Fenwick Friars vs. Providence Catholic Celtics

The Fenwick Friars will face off against the Providence Catholic Celtics at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fenwick has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with nine straight defeats, while Providence Catholic will come in with five straight wins.

Fenwick saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 2-0 to Wheaton North.

Meanwhile, Providence Catholic sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Chicago Mt. Carmel on Thursday.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Providence Catholic got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-16, 22-25, 25-23.

Providence Catholic pushed their record up to 12-18 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Fenwick, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.
