Baseball Recap: Berwyn/Cicero Morton Mustangs vs. Proviso East Pirates
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Downers Grove North, Berwyn/Cicero Morton was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They never let the Proviso East Pirates get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The Mustangs not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 28th (when they won 9-1).
The result came thanks to Mathew Roman's shutout, as he gave up just two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.
