Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bureau Valley). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Lewistown/Cuba/Spoon River Valley Miners 44-6. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Storm also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Bureau Valley's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Lewistown/Cuba/Spoon River Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
